Arrival time is displayed in the destination's local timezone, so you can immediately see what time you'll land without doing timezone arithmetic. A day-offset notice appears for long-haul routes where you arrive on a different calendar date.
Real flight times vary by airline, aircraft type, route, and wind conditions. These estimates are typically accurate to within 15–30 minutes of scheduled flight times. Always add buffer for connections and airport transit.
Why does my arrival show a different date?
Long-haul flights crossing many time zones — or flying overnight — often land on a different calendar date. The calculator shows both departure and arrival dates so there's no confusion when booking hotels or onward connections.
Does this include layover time?
No — this is direct flight time only. For connecting flights, calculate each leg separately and add your planned layover time between them.
What speed does the calculator assume?
880 km/h (547 mph) — typical cruising speed for a Boeing 737 or Airbus A320. Wide-body long-haul aircraft (787, A350) cruise slightly faster at 900–910 km/h. Overhead time for taxi, climb and descent is added based on route length.
How accurate are the timezone conversions?
